Copilot Masterclass

Copilot Masterclass is a practical, live online AI acceleration course that provides learners with the core components of modern AI literacy and applied Copilot use. It builds a shared AI vocabulary, teaches structured and reusable prompting, introduces Copilot agents and Copilot Studio concepts, and gives hands-on practice so participants can use Copilot confidently and responsibly in everyday work. 

Designed as a workshop-style course, the Masterclass combines concise lectures, guided demonstrations and hands-on exercises. Learners move from understanding how Copilot works across the Microsoft ecosystem, through to building prompts and simple AI assets they can reuse and adapt in their own role or team.

• The course runs over four weeks, with each week following a consistent structure of:A two-hour live lecture 

• Two hours of additional reading, watching or guided self-learning exercises to consolidate learning 

This structure supports steaady skill development while allowing time for reflection, practice and questions.

• By the end of the Session participants will be able to: 

  • Confidently use the full range of core Copilot features and functions, understanding what each is best used for and where its limits are 

  • Apply effective prompting techniques to get clearer, more reliable and higher-quality outputs from Copilot 

  • Understand how Copilot works across different Microsoft applications and choose the most appropriate Copilot experience for a given task 

  • Build and refine reusable, readable prompts that can be applied consistently across common workplace tasks 

  • Create and refine simple Copilot agents, and explain what they are, how they work and when to use them 

  • Work with Copilot using organisational data, understanding how Copilot interacts with Microsoft 365 content and how to use it safely and effectively 

  • Use Copilot to support everyday work, including drafting, analysis, summarisation, presentation development and idea generation 

  • Define what is meant by AI literacy and explain, in plain terms, how generative AI works and how it differs from other forms of AI 

  • Apply core principles of responsible and ethical AI use when working with prompts, organisational data and Copilot agents 

  • Identify practical, realistic opportunities in their own role or team where Copilot can add value immediately
