AI4SLT: Strategic AI Alignment for Senior Leadership Teams
AI for Senior Leadership Teams (AI4SLT) is a half-day, in-person executive workshop that equips senior leaders with the strategic clarity, practical literacy and organisational perspective required to lead confidently in an AI-enabled world.
This session is the common entry point into the Dixon AI Transformation Programme and accelerates Stage 2 of the Seven Stages of Organisational AI Transformation: Leadership Commitment. Its purpose is to shift leaders from uncertainty, hesitation or fragmented understanding to a unified, capability-led view of what AI means for their organisation.
Through a blend of strategic framing, live demonstrations, interactive exercises and guided roadmap development, leaders learn:
-
how AI is reshaping the competitive and operational environment
-
how to think and act strategically in conditions of rapid technological change
-
how modern generative and retrieval AI tools work in practice
-
how to begin shaping an organisational roadmap focused on people, capability and safe experimentation
No technical background is required. AI4SLT meets leaders exactly where they are and equips them with the confidence and alignment to move forward together.

Key Outcomes
A Leadership Team United in Vision, Vocabulary and Intent
Leaders leave speaking the same language AI literacy, frameworks, risk posture, and capability priorities enabling coherent messaging across the organisation.
Immediate Executive Upskilling and Confidence with AI Tools
By using AI hands-on (or via live guided demos), leaders gain personal confidence and evaluative judgement critical for credible governance and investment decisions.
A Structured Approach to Early AI Exploration
Teams leave with a lightweight, actionable portfolio of small bets rather than a single static plan aligned to modern constructivist strategy principles.
A Clear Guiding Policy for Safe, Responsible AI Use
By the end of the workshop, leaders agree high-level principles (e.g., control the data, democratise the tools), enabling safe experimentation and reducing risk.
A Defined Pathway into an AI Transformation Programme
AI4SLT provides the strategic and cultural foundation required for organisation wide capability scaling through AI transformation
Why AI4SLT Works
AI4SLT accelerates leadership capability by combining strategy, literacy and hands-on experience in a single intervention. It resolves the biggest barrier to organisational AI progress: leadership uncertainty, misalignment and lack of personal fluency.
Below are the deeper mechanisms behind its effectiveness.
Cognitive Acceleration
Leaders replace vague or exaggerated assumptions about AI with grounded understanding: how models work, what’s possible now, and what’s coming next.
Behavioural Acceleration
Hands-on demonstrations and guided interactions build practical confidence removing fear, hesitation and abstract theorising.
Cultural Alignment
By sharing one learning experience, the leadership team leaves aligned on language, principles and priorities creating a coherent organisational message.
Capability-First Framing
AI4SLT shifts leaders away from “What tools should we buy?” toward “What capability must we build to adapt at speed?” a core differentiator of Dixon AI’s methodology.
Structured, Future-Proof Roadmapping
Using GEFIE and the PEJ framework, leaders co-design a roadmap that adapts as technology evolves avoiding static three year plans that rapidly become obsolete.
